Mere bhaaaaaaai ki shaadi hai :)

If you remember my ravings and rantings about the search of 1 bride for 1 brother !, here is the update on the same...mere bhaaaaai ki shaadi hai (sung to the tune of "mere yaar ki shaadi hai") :)

In November suddenly, things turned around...and fast ! Suddenly we had found the perfect bride for my brother... everybody was happy and I was relieved ! Soon they will be Mr. & Mrs.

The important thing for me is that she and I just simply clicked in a micro-milli-second...which would have been "too much too soon" for me in any other case...but in this case, I am amazed at my speed and level of involvement ! I had mentioned in the previously mentioned post how I was keen on getting along with my brother's wife, how I was scared that she would bully my mother etc. etc. All my fears have been put to rest ! She is extremely loving, took an instant liking to my parents and me and my better half... and we to her. It is as if this was meant to be ! For the longest time, she was rejecting prospective grroms and my brother was rejecting prospective brides, and respective parents were getting anxious. Then suddenly, the two of them clicked and everything seemed just right. She is forever looking for opportunities to spend time with all of us and we love to have her with us at every little occasion, or sometimes for no occasion at all ! :)

I am happily surprised at all this...the kind of affection we genuinely feel for her and she for us...but, the MOST amazing thing is the transformation my brother has undergone...to put it in the words of a cousin, my brother's changed over from "The Ruff n Tuff" guy to "The Romantic Chocolate Hero" in a matter of moments :)))

So guys, in celebration of this happy event, lets all dance to "Mere bhaaaaaaaai ki shaadi hai" ! :)
